These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AVCentral.ca and all related services operated by AVCentral (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using AVCentral.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

AVCentral.ca is a Canadian aviation platform that provides:
We are an information platform — we facilitate connections between pilots and aviation service providers. We are not a medical service provider, a flight training provider, or a regulated aviation authority.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on AVCentral.ca. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Pilots may create a personal account at /join/ to access certain platform features. You are responsible for:

Flight school representatives may claim and manage their school’s listing through our platform. By claiming a listing, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of that flight school.
School owners are responsible for:
We reserve the right to verify school ownership and to remove or suspend listings that contain inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@avcentral.ca.
Our CAME directory contains information about Transport Canada-designated Civil Aviation Medical Examiners. This information is provided for general reference purposes only.
Important limitations:
Our flight school directory contains information about Canadian flight schools. School information is either submitted by school representatives or sourced from publicly available information.
AVCentral.ca publishes educational guides about Canadian aviation medical requirements, categories, validity periods, and related topics.
These guides are for general educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, legal advice, or official regulatory guidance.

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions.
All content on AVCentral.ca created by us — including the site design, logos, aviation medical guides, written copy, and compiled directory data — is owned by AVCentral or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
By submitting content to AVCentral.ca (such as school listing information, photos, or reviews), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform. You represent that you have the right to grant this licence and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.
Information derived from Transport Canada’s public CAME registry is used under fair dealing principles for public interest information purposes. Transport Canada is the authoritative source for official aviation regulatory information.
Flight schools may subscribe to paid listing tiers (Premium, Elite) that provide enhanced features. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe.
Paid listing tiers provide enhanced visibility and features on our platform. We make no guarantee of enquiry volumes, lead quality, or business outcomes from any paid tier.
AVCentral.ca is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including:

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
AVCentral.ca is not affiliated with Transport Canada or any government aviation authority. We are a private information platform.

Our platform contains links to third-party websites including Transport Canada, flight school websites, CAME clinic websites, and booking systems. These links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of AVCentral.ca shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and notify registered users by email where appropriate.
Continued use of AVCentral.ca after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

These terms apply when you submit a job listing to AVCentral’s aviation jobs board.
Editorial control. We may reject, edit for clarity, or remove any listing at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Authority to post. By submitting a listing, you confirm you are authorized to post on behalf of the named employer. We may request verification and will remove listings when authority cannot be established. Misrepresentation of authority may result in a ban on future submissions from your email or IP.
No liability. AVCentral acts only as a platform. We do not verify employer representations, screen candidates, or guarantee hiring outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for losses arising from any listing, application, or employment decision.
Data handling. We collect your email and the job details you submit. Your email is used for verification, listing management, and related notifications. Submitted job content is displayed publicly on AVCentral. You may request deletion of your data by emailing support@avcentral.ca.
Free tier. There is no charge to post. No refunds apply (nothing is collected). We make no guarantees of listing duration beyond the stated expiry.
Review and expiry. All listings are subject to triage review before publication. Standard listing duration is 30 days; maximum is 60. Listings auto-draft at expiry; extension requires a new submission.
