Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
The Private Pilot Licence allows you to fly single-engine aircraft in Canada for personal and recreational purposes. Training covers airmanship, navigation, meteorology, and flight manoeuvres, culminating in a Transport Canada written exam and flight test.
Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
The Commercial Pilot Licence qualifies you to be paid to fly aircraft in Canada. Building on PPL fundamentals, CPL training develops precision flying skills, advanced navigation, and the aeronautical knowledge required by Transport Canada for commercial operations.
Multi-Engine IFR Rating
The Multi-Engine Instrument Rating combines multi-engine endorsement with instrument flying authorization, qualifying pilots to operate twin-engine aircraft in IMC. This rating is a standard requirement for entry-level airline and charter positions.
Flight Instructor Rating
The Flight Instructor Rating qualifies pilots to teach others to fly under Transport Canada regulations. Instructor training develops lesson planning, airmanship coaching, and the ability to safely demonstrate and correct student errors in the aircraft.
Ground School
Ground school covers the theoretical knowledge required for pilot licences and ratings, including aerodynamics, meteorology, navigation, air law, and human factors. Courses are available in-person, online, or as a hybrid to suit different schedules.
Tailwheel
Tailwheel training develops skills specific to conventional-gear aircraft, including wheel landings, three-point landings, and crosswind techniques. Many bush and backcountry aircraft are tailwheel-configured, making this endorsement valuable for career pilots.
Aerobatics Training
Aerobatic flight training for recreational pilots at the Kamloops and Pitt Meadows campuses.
Airline Pilot Diploma
Three-year professional diploma program preparing graduates for airline careers.
Flight Dispatcher
Training program for Transport Canada flight dispatcher certification.
